Dead Island 2 Release Date

Dead Island 2 is one of those games that a lot of people thought it would be a Duke Nukem Forever situation. As we know, ever since that cool Dead Island 2 trailer launched, the game has been pretty much in development hell. They had to change scripts, but also the studio that was working on this title. Yet in the end, Dead Island 2 is finally coming out, it just went Gold and now it will launch on the 21st of April.

That means we have around 2 months or so until we will finally play this game. Recent gameplay and footage from Dead Island 2 has shown that a lot of work went into this title, and it’s actually very interesting and fun to play. It’s important to point out that ever since the first game was released, 2 Dying Light games were made and released, so it’s quite interesting to see how this entire situation has managed to grow and expand.

We are happy to see that the Dead Island 2 release date has finally been set , after a very tumultuous and rather problematic development. The game will be available on the old and new gen consoles, but also on PC. The important thing to note is that at least on PC, Dead Island 2 will be an Epic Store exclusive, at least for a little while.

The developers are committed to release even more gameplay, screenshots and videos within the next 2 months in order to generate more hype for the release of this title. It’s amazing to see how the game has managed to grow more and more, and we are excited to see how it will turn out. Of course, this doesn’t guarantee the Dead Island 2 game is good or bad, however it does show that the team was committed to make this a reality.

Dead Island has shown a lot of promise when it came to zombie games, and we think that Dead Island 2 has a lot of potential too. Whether it will be close to Dying Light when it comes to gameplay or not, that can be hard to say. But what we do know is that Dead Island 2 is set to have a lot of zombie types, yet there’s no word on any multiplayer or special systems. We will most likely hear more about any specifics as we get closer to the release date late April!
