Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is one of those games that has received a lot of support from the devs, and it seems that now we have its final patch. The game arrived in late 2020, so we had over 2 years of updates and also 4 expansions. It’s a huge amount of content, which clearly shows the amazing value that you can get from a game like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
With that in mind, the final patch is update 1.7.0 and it seems that it’s focused on bringing in some bug fixes to the game. There were still a few bug fixes related to the game that were not solved still, and now it seems that they addressed them. The game has been refined and improved quite a lot over the past few years, and it continues to stand out as one of the better options that you can find on the market.
They also solved some issues with pricing, but also the number of opals not being updated. It might not seem that much at first, but the issues that they solved were quite problematic for a lot of people. Having the game work adequately and not having to deal with some of the issues presented there is important, and it just goes to show the unique appeal of the game.
What this shows is Ubisoft is indeed gearing towards Mirage and the release of that game. We think that most of the resources are focused on that game, but also on the Japan-based game that will arrive in the next few years. There’s no release date on that one, but also Assassin’s Creed Mirage doesn’t seem to have any release date right now either.
However, we do expect Mirage to arrive sometime toward the end of the year. The usual time slot for AC games is November, so we can expect them to bring us the game around that time. As a whole, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been an exceptional release and while not everyone has appreciated the RPG formula, it’s safe to say that the game itself was a huge success for Ubisoft.
We think that Mirage will be less of an exploratory experience like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was and instead it will be more of a story-focused game. That’s still amazing and it will bring us quite an immersive and unique approach towards the entire process.
